L4. RECON PARKA (GREEN)
This piece is inspired by a number of military archetype-style combat and field parkas including the M65 Fishtail Parka. It is the first outerwear layer in the ECWCS that is worn for light wind and light rain protection.
The main body is manufactured from luxury Scottish fabric which is 100% organic cotton treated with a dry wax finish. On the inside of the parka it is seam taped and drop lined making the Recon Parka waterproof.
Waxed cotton should not be machine washed or dry cleaned and should be kept away from hot water and harsh detergents that will remove the wax coating. When spots occur, use a damp rag or soft bristle brush to gently buff out the stained area.
